  11. 'elCID' is al caller id logger for ISDN-cards and modems.  It would be designed
  12. especially for the ISDN-Blaster-Z2 card from VMC Harald Frank, but it is
  13. (hopefully) easy to adjust the prefs to work with any other ISDN-card or -modem
  14. on the market.  That is possible, because 'elCID' uses the respective device
  15. driver of the card.  If your device driver is capable of setting it into
  16. debug-mode, than 'elCID' is THE program for you.

  18. 'elCID' monitors the debug data of the device driver and when the configured
  19. data will be found, 'elCID' will do the very best to process it and show you
  20. your needed data.

  22. It is also possible to watch the 'serial.device' and listen for every RING or
  23. something else you want to monitor and react on it.
